Registration is now open for the joint ABC-ABIS 2021 virtual conference. This year’s registration is $50 for regular members and $25 for student members.

Registration this year will take place using the EVENTBRITE ticketing system. To register for the conference, please visit the following link:   http://bit.ly/36w43NJ

  • If you have already registered on the FBD site you do not need to register again. There are some issues with the website, so we are offering this alternative registration link.

If you are presenting in both ABC and ABIS, you will need to register for both conferences (select one of each “ticket” from EventBrite). As an attendee, you will be able to go to any of the presentations from either association.

The email you use for registration is very important. The conference will use Microsoft Teams as our virtual platform. Unless you are familiar with switching Teams between different organizations, it is strongly encouraged you use a personal email account to register (this will avoid issues with other universities that use Microsoft products). The email you enter at checkout on EventBrite will be where information is sent about joining Microsoft Teams.

You will have two ways to participate this year:  You may join the Microsoft Team to text with colleagues/attend meetings, or prior to the conference you will be sent an email with direct links to the meetings and the schedule. We want this to be an enjoyable experience for you so you may participate as little or as much as you like!

Because this is a unique situation and our first time running an online conference, we ask that you register as soon as possible. Registration will close on Sunday, March 14th.

PRESENTERS:  We need you to register early so we can finalize the schedule, and we would like to schedule a meeting with you ahead of time to ensure you understand the Teams platform.
Presenters please register no later than Friday, March 5th.

Instructions on how to join the Team, along with the schedule and links to the individual meetings will be sent on Tuesday before the conference.

Please share this email with interested parties. (Presenters, send this information to your team as only the PI was notified.) If you have any questions, please reach out.
